Nicolas Santana
Nicolas Santana
General Manager
Nicolas Santana is a sports operations leader with over a decade of experience managing large scale sports complexes, programs, and events. His career began in 2012 with the United States Specialty Sports Association USSSA, where he developed a strong foundation in facility operations, working his way from field maintenance to event management at the Space Coast Complex, a premier 15 field all turf venue. He later served as General Manager of Sports Force Complex in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and in 2024 became General Manager of Baseball Operations at Cooperstown All Star Village, helping lead one of the nation’s most recognized youth baseball destinations with a focus on operational excellence and guest experience. In January 2025, Nicolas joined The Land Sports and Recreation Complex as General Manager. He is passionate about building strong community partnerships, creating inclusive and high quality programming, and ensuring The Land continues to be a premier destination for youth, families, and athletes across the region. A former professional softball player from 2012 to 2022, Nicolas brings a unique athlete first perspective to leadership. He is married, a proud father to a baby boy, and remains deeply committed to fostering environments where sports, community, and development thrive.
Brock Higdon
Brock Higdon
Fitness Manager
Brock Higdon is the Fitness Manager at The Land Sports and Recreation Complex. Fitness has been a central part of his life since his football career, where he developed a deep appreciation for strength, endurance, and teamwork. He played five seasons of football at the University of South Alabama while earning his degree in Exercise Science. After college, Brock obtained multiple NASM certifications in personal training and has dedicated his career to helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier. His experience spans group fitness, individualized training, and creating an environment where fitness is both effective and enjoyable. He is passionate about designing programs that challenge members, support their goals, and maintain an upbeat, motivating atmosphere. Outside the gym, Brock is married to Sophia, and together they share their home with their energetic dog who keeps them just as active as the members at The Land.

Social Media and Marketing Manager
Gabby Rocha serves as the Social Media and Marketing Manager at The Land Sports and Recreation Complex, where she leads brand strategy, digital presence, and community engagement initiatives. Since joining The Land, she has played a key role in shaping the facility’s voice, strengthening its online presence, and ensuring that every program, event, and milestone is communicated with clarity and purpose. Her work focuses on developing strategic marketing campaigns that drive growth, increase participation, and highlight the people who make The Land a premier destination for youth, families, and athletes across the region.
Steven Kelley
Steven Kelley
Facilities Manager
Steven Kelley is the Facilities and Maintenance Manager at The Land Sports Complex, where he leads the effort to keep the grounds, fields, and facilities running smoothly for athletes, families, and visitors. With a lifelong appreciation for working with his hands and spending time outdoors, Steven has always been the type of person who would rather fix something than replace it—and preferably do it before anyone else even notices there was a problem. Facilities and maintenance managers are often called the “invisible backbone” of large venues. Steven and his team share a simple goal: keep The Land looking its best and functioning flawlessly so players can focus on the game, families can enjoy their time together, and the community can take pride in the place they gather.
